Premier Swindon/South West Logistics and Distribution Park prominently located on the A419. New 375,000 sq ft built to suit warehouse/distribution centre under construction for B&Q owner Kingfisher. The new warehouse, which will support B&Q’s store replenishment operations, is located adjacent to its existing 800,000 sq ft unit which was also developed for B&Q by Gazeley in 2008.
Construction of the new warehouse commenced at the start of March, having received detailed planning permission, with the building expected to achieve practical completion by December 2018. When completed, the development is expected to create 100 full-time jobs in Swindon.
G.Park Swindon is an established and much sought after location for logistics. It benefits from its proximity to a number of key transport routes, including the M4/M5 motorways, and a number of major towns including Oxford, Bristol and London. The development is also home to international express, mail delivery and logistics services company TNT who occupy a 56,000 sq ft built-to-suit, state-of-the-art parcel hub developed by Gazeley in 2015.
