Nick Cook

Nick Cook is Chief Executive Officer of Gazeley, GLP’s platform in Europe. Nick was previously Chief Operating Officer of Gazeley where he oversaw all capital deployment, disposition and operational aspects of the business in Europe.

Nick joined Gazeley in 2002 and has held several key positions including establishing Gazeley’s profitable UAE business unit and looking after Gazeley’s business in China, while maintaining a detailed involvement in all aspects of the European business.

Nick is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and has 19 years’ experience in the real estate development and investment market. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Practice Surveying & Commercial Property Development from Nottingham Trent University and has completed training in several professional courses including a Management & Leadership program at Harvard Business School. Nick is based in London.

Shane Kelly

Shane is responsible for Finance, Tax, Treasury and IT. Prior to joining Gazeley in March 2014, Shane worked in various finance roles for three FTSE 100 companies. He later joined Multiplex in 2004 as the Financial Controller for its UK Construction business, which was later, acquired by Brookfield in 2007. Since then he has held various group reporting roles mainly overseeing Brookfield’s European real estate and infrastructure businesses.  He worked on Brookfield’s acquisition of Gazeley and is now part of Gazeley.

Shane is qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW in 1994 and is a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

Ingo joined Gazeley in 2007 and is responsible for overseeing capital deployments, dispositions and all operational aspects in Northern Europe. Following Brookfield’s acquisition of Gazeley from Dubai World in 2013, he was appointed Head of Operations for Europe and China, playing an instrumental role in establishing Gazeley’s core operations and asset management capability. Ingo has developed and acquired more than 1 million square metres of logistics assets for customers such as Amazon, Adidas, VW, Bosch, UPS and Mercedes.

Prior to joining Gazeley, he worked as a real estate banker at WestLB-Group, for the investment vehicles of Warburg and Deutsche Bank and as a Market Officer for Germany at US REIT Prologis. He holds a MBA degree from the University of Cologne and is a course lecturer in industrial real estate at EBS, Oestrich-Winkel, one of the world’s leading universities covering real estate

Alex Verbeek

Following a number of roles in the UK business for 12 years, including Development Director and Operations Director Alex now leads the UK covering all aspects of activity – development, acquisitions, asset management and leasing.

Highlights include managing and delivering over three million square feet at Magna Park Milton Keynes for customers including John Lewis, River Island and Waitrose and being responsible for the 1 million square feet UK speculative development programme.

Before joining Gazeley, Alex spent 10 years at Jones Lang LaSalle as a Director responsible for the South UK Industrial & Logistics Brokerage and Development Team, advising investors and developers.

Alex is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and holds a Bachelor of Arts undergraduate degree in Media and Communications and a Masters postgraduate degree in Real Estate.


Fabrice Cervoni

Managing Director, South Europe

Fabrice joined Gazeley 2014 and oversees all the business of Gazeley in Southern Europe including Acquisitions, Development and Asset Management.

Fabrice has almost 20 years of experience in real estate and under his leadership, Gazeley has become a key player on the French market.

Previously he was Director of Capital Transactions Continental Europe at Goodman, responsible for acquisitions and sales in key European markets. He also worked for major institutional investors such as AXA and Gecina. During his career, Fabrice has achieved over €1bn of investments, especially in the logistics sector.

Fabrice is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and has a degree in law. He has also completed a postgraduate course in management at HEC Paris business school.


Rachel Walker

Rachel set up Gazeley’s in house legal function when she joined in 2014 and leads Gazeley’s legal strategy in Europe. She supports our teams on all of our transactions and coordinates our dedicated team of external counsel. She is also responsible for our governance, risk management and compliance programmes including conducting appropriate training.

Prior to joining Gazeley, Rachel spent 10 years in the commercial real estate department of Herbert Smith Freehills LLP where she gained a broad experience of major corporate real estate acquisitions and disposals, corporate occupier lettings, acquisition finance and development projects.

Rachel has an MA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University. She has a solid understanding of cross border legal distinctions and has contributed to publications of the International Comparative Legal Guide to Real Estate and other legal journals.

Haidee Klein

Haidee has worked for Gazeley for 13 years and played a key role in supporting the transition and restructuring of resource during the sale of the Gazeley Group in 2008 & 2013. Haidee is responsible for the HR strategy and operations across 4 different employment entities in the UK, France, Spain and Germany.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, Haidee is responsible for driving the creation of an environment that embeds the company’s Vision, Mission and Values, enabling strong performance from our colleagues that exceeds Gazeley’s high standards and makes Gazeley a great place to work.

Haidee is a member of the Charter Institute of Professional Development and contributes to their ongoing research on the world of HR & people development.

Oscar Heras

Oscar has worked for Gazeley for over 9 years. Oscar started as a Construction Director in Spain before being seconded to China for 3 years, returning to Europe in 2015 in his current role.

Oscar has successfully developed more than 500,000 sqm of Class A logistics projects in Europe and China.

Prior to joining Gazeley, Oscar was the Managing Director and Technical Director in Turnkey Construction (GSE). Oscar has an extensive and solid background in designing and building industrial projects around the world including experience over a period of 16 years in 7 countries and 3 continents, and was recognised in Spain as one of the pioneers introducing the concept of modern and flexible Logistics Parks, focusing on quality and fast track construction.

Oscar holds a Degree in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic University of Catalonia UPC in Barcelona.

Florian Wnuck

Head of Business Development & Marketing

Florian joined Gazeley in 2013 and is in charge of developing privileged relationships with existing and potential global customers, and oversees relationships with international key customers. He has more than 13 years of experience in international logistics real estate developments, assisting customers with industrial warehouse requirements in countries across Europe.

Prior to joining Gazeley, Florian spent 9 years as Director for International Business Development at GSE, a leading Design & Build Contractor for logistics buildings.

Florian speaks fluent German and French and holds Masters’ degrees in History and Business Administration from the University of Aix-en-Provence/ France.

Pat is one of the founding members of Gazeley and has held a number of key leadership roles for over 30 years since its inception in 1987.  He was appointed Construction Director of Gazeley in 1990 and combined this role with Store Development Director of Asda for three years.  In 2004 he served as COO and oversaw the expansion of the business across Europe and China.

Pat attended the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School in 2005 and was appointed as CEO of Gazeley in 2006.  He played a key role in the sale of Gazeley to Dubai World in 2008 and the subsequent sale of the business to Brookfield Property Partners in 2013.

Along with his colleagues, he has helped to grow Gazeley from a single country entity into a leading international investor developer in the logistics sector with a focus on customer service and quality.

Pat is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building.
